The author admitted that this story started as a one-chapter one-shot, and only got extended into a one-volume one-shot because it was so popular. It's basically about a person and a sentient toy rabbit trying to fulfill wishes with a price. Pfft, as if I believe you. They say there's a price, which they did take something from others, but they still returned those in the end out of pity or kindness. Why? If they used something to buy your magic item, keep the payment. Normal people don't go to Walmart or wherever, buy a soda, and the store lets them take the soda away

while returning the $2 plus tax after you drank the soda. But that's exactly what this person and the rabbit did. Let someone use the product, then return the payment they received because they pity them so much. If they genuinely pity them, the duo would give the object to them for free. Chapter one was just a scenario, and the rabbit plushie's origin story is chapter two. Why? Why not let chapter one be the bunny origin story, or not give the bunny any origin story? And there's one chapter where someone doesn't dare to confess or even talk to their crush. Why give her a magic object when she can simply enroll in drama class to practice enunciation and have no shame?
