Sou Shen Ji (ONA)

This series has an interesting start, but overall, it's pretty average. The first episode few episodes was just okay. It has a 24-episode run, but the production quality and animation really don't stand out—they are desent/good at best.

The story itself is fine and avoids repetitive drama, which is nice. It gives off some Tales of Herding Gods vibes with the MC's unknown background, and the music is decent. But it's only the first few episodes, so I'm keeping my expectations in check.

A major downside is the FMC's design. She looks incredibly plain compared to even side characters in other donghuas.

Overall, the story has some potential, ... but the mediocre animation and lackluster character designs keep it firmly in "average" territory for now. Let's see if it improves as it goes on.
