I agree that they did a masterful job in the way they ended the show. However, I think if Lelouch lived it wouldn't have any bearing on the impact of what he did since he accomplished all he set out to do. I believe on the dvd set CC says Lelouch is dead somewhere in the end credit scene, so it has been confirmed. REALLY wish he lived though, was saddened to hear that his death is cannon.

I like to hear others opinions about what they think happened to Lelouch at the end of R2? Do you think he died or lived on with C.C. ?
