Since January of 2025 I have seen 21,4 days worth of anime in one year, 1241 episodes in total and 94 series/movies completed and I re-watched 15 series/movies.

Considering there is 365 days in one year I spent a total of 5,86% of my year watching anime.

A 6,55% decrease over 2024

According to Year Wrap up, I was in the top 5% of people with a lot of time on their hands.

Since it's made by Bones, I will. Though I'm not sure when that'll be, there's so many anime I have my sights on first.

I also have a recommendation for you; it's a pretty well-hidden gem called
which is a masterpiece; a victory for anime and anime fans all around the world.

That sounds nice, and since Oshi no Ko actually became popular the series won't need to sit and rot for years wthout any followup. Since the manga is still going, surely they won't try to rush an ending in the second season, so many series have already tried this and it never works.

Thank you for a nice summary, I will be taking a look at some of these over this year🧐 And yeah every year is gonna be weak in comparison to 2007 (higurashi Kai release) so I understand how you feel. Do you feel like Oshi no Ko warranted its insane popularity?

You rewatched 27 series and movies, and still didn't watch Higurashi Kai. I can't believe this. In Japan, it's bad manners to not finish what you started.
