The absolute best part of this season is watching Will continue to defy a world that was built to exclude him. There is something incredibly cathartic about seeing a character who was mocked for having "no magic" prove that hard work and a blade can shatter the status quo.
Without spoiling too much, the way Will’s special power is explored this season is peak shonen. It doesn't feel like a cheap "win-button"; it feels earned. Seeing him tap into that unique strength—blending his physical prowess with his mysterious abilities—resulted in some of the most hype-inducing moments I’ve seen in years.
