as someone who played the visual novel it was pretty shitty to me how Makoto is 50% manipulative depending on the choices in the visual novel but for the ones who has only seen the anime like anyone Makoto is just more of an asshole in the anime as he deserved to get killed by Sekai as his character Is seen as unrealistically awful and His decisions feel forced by the plot seen as a villain. The anime chooses the worst possible combination of events and compresses them into one timeline, so as the girls in the anime are seen treated poorly uses them for drama rather than development. Clearly, I see Sekai the same as Makoto just 20% as him as she pressured him into a relationship into the anime, not to mentioned it just sucks that she lied about her pregnancy, and again she also deserved to die also. Poor kotonoha she just wanted to be in a real relationship Tho. 2/10 anime is boring visual novel is better.
