Nao Kanzaki is supposed to be "foolishly honest", but they instead just made her super gullible and trusting of everyone. People CAN be honest without being trusting of everyone around them, but not her apparently. She also doesn't seem to have a single thought on her own somehow. She follows around the other main character of the show Shinichi Akiyama and only serves to be a reaction bot.
"Akiyama what should we do?"
"Akiyama?"
"I should just trust Akiyama"
"OOOHHHH NOOO AKIYAMA WHAT WILL WE DO".
"WE DID IT AKIYAMA"

No Kanzaki. You did nothing but annoy me and anybody else who expected anything good from this show. Genuinely if she wasn't around the show would be considerably better. Unfortunately, that is not the universe we were blessed with. I have other issues with the plot (like the fact that it's very mid), but those aren't as important. The most notable issue is it feels like there will be multiple episodes where nothing happens and then we get to an episode of a "big reveal". They don't really do this reveal well though and the episodes leading up to it are pretty boring.

Just watch Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor. It's 10 times better and you won't have to deal with one of the most annoying main characters ever written.
