Preliminary (55/? chp)
Drama Queen is.. a ride? I liked it. From the start, I read things as they are, i don't go into too much depth, which is the problem with half of the people reading this. I've been reading this since the second chapter dropped, and honestly, i didn't get this "racism" until, a few chapters later, i scrolled through the comments, and had to figure that out. Some people need to take things at surface level, genuinely.

I love it, the emotional tresses of Seiran are a journey I've accompanied with him, in all ways. I don't know what the hell could happen, and am just excited for new chapters. Seiran, in himself, has these layers that need to be uncovered, and he develops well. We see his different views changing, and he's the most sanely insane out of them all.

There's Nomamoto, and, oh my god, the hell? She's as indifferent as a pancake. Girl thinks about herself, is the epitome of a selfish desire. But that gives way to the development that Seiran gets, Backbone gets. She's undeniably in the wrong, and maybe not? It makes you think. I still love her, and I can't lie, thought she'd be the main focus. Her character is the same, unthinking, unfeeling, which makes her best fit in her circumstances.

Backbone's arc was interesting. Like how a dense character can turn rare from influence, especially after the timeskip. Completely influenced, detached, but living a life she really likes, and that's her own freedom- not caring about any deep dilemmas or anything. Especially her past, which was RELATABLE. Not just for me, but I'm sure for others.

Haruo is....? He's a pookie, and ...? I really like his character. Very smart, straight forward. And yeah. I like him, he's just confusing. (for me).

Lily. BRO. what. a-a-a-a--am i on something, or is he just malicious. But he's not because he's kinda valid. Huh?

Most of these characters are somewhat an antithesis to Seiran. Unfeeling, where he's not. Untroubled, where he's not. Level-headed, where he's not. And that's how I feel. Reading this makes me slip into the boots of Seiran, and the author really carries this in a really good way.

I don't get the underlying messages of things in general. I just scroll on reddit threads, and in comments, then I get some sort of theory of what actually happens. And I can tell that there is something that's might be trying to be told here, about society and stuff, or maybe absolutely fucking nothing. Maybe its just plot, or maybe its a metaphor? I don't know, I can't figure it out for myself, which is why YOU should read it. Figure it out for me, I beg. Seriously though, Drama Queen makes you think. Its amazing. Read it, and don't judge it, as my friend once did (and still does), because the deuteragonist eats aliens. Don't be a bum and try and cancel the author because of western views and issues that might not even concern them or you. Just think about what the story tries to say. It's really good.
