I started lazarus purely based on the synopsis. I did not know anything about its creater. I had no expectations exept the synopsis, going into the show, and i thought it might be something very sciency- bioish and thought it would be something like modern day dr stone. but boy i was WRONG. Every ep was just so amazing ans special in its on way. the overall narrative was the "there is no hope in the world" and everything looked bleak and dull. it doesnt matter if humanity ends. But this specal task force not only brought about chaos where ever they went,

The first few eps really reeled me into the show. I love post apocalyptic settings and this show just had all the elements, from the children in the school and their bizarre interactions to how the outside world was. every backstory was amazing. BUt the final few eps just made me more lost and some plot lines even felt unnecessary... It was going really good and the confusion made me very interested in the show but i think i was a little bit dissapointed with the way they took it forward. The anime does not complete the plot, im planning on reading the manga but

Decided to watch it after reading the synopsis. I would suggest it to people who liked animes like black clover or mashle. I have watched a good amount of magic type of animes and i thought i would get bored but the characters really pulled me in. especially the mc, for some reason he reminded me of deku from mha. him and sion ( red hair dude) lowkey gave me deku and bakugo vibes. apart from that, I liked all the characters personalities. and the pacing was pretty good. If your a new anime watcher and love flashy fight scenes, would totally reccomend.
