Simply must read! Our MC is just a typical deadbeat who is forced to redeem himself for his mistakes. Premise might sound boring but characters feel really alive, art is nice to the eye and story is consistent and immersive to boot! What else to ask for? Just go for it and read it!
On a more detailed part:
Story-
Everything might seem random at first, but the world is a lot more complicated than it seems, and the story is going to fully utilise it.
Characters-
Character development exists, greatly. Each action had some kind of consequence, and out character learn from them, suffer and grow.

Okay, so I just watched the show and I need to say it's pretty darn good. So, let's grade all the regions I can think of as of now.
Story: For the story I will give it generous 8/10, I mean... it was kinda obvious where the story was going, but still, the interactions, events, plans it all felt soooo good, you just can't hate it. Characters: Ok, I will admit, I did not think much of David, but his character development kinda amazed me.... ok, kinda, but what really, really amazed me was how they had done cyber-psychosis, simpy amazing.
