I was so disappointed... So disappointed yet so hooked.
Having just completed S1, right off the gate, this Manhwa itself is really fucked up. A black flag manhwa with a black flag ML. It contains every possible thing you'd find in a typical black flag manhwa. Lots of trigger warnings. I planned to actually drop this, but I just kept reading, because I wanted to know what would eventually happen to the MC. He's pretty smart. A green flag overall (or so I thought 😃)
I don't want to give spoilers, but things took a turn not really for the best and get somehow it makes sense?

10/10 character development masterpiece
8/10 thriller 10/10 art style 9/10 apocalyptic setting 8/10 balance of relationships Oh my god this was such a good... No great read. I'm not a fan of zombie apocalypse but maybe I should look into closed circle zombie apocalypses, because this was good, and they weren't even adults. They survived as teenagers while going through the usual stuff that teenagers do, rivals, romance, friendships, enemies. I binged this. Loved the FL, she was badass and her mental strength is just incredible. The side characters too weren't just for fun props. The comedy was funny as well. The friendships were just deeply moving, even ... May 2, 2026
I thought this was great. The animation, the fights, the deaths.
I'll need some time to recover from one of my favourite hashira's demise. For the backgrounds that felt drawn out, E.g the cry baby, I mostly skipped. He's come a long way though. Also the flashback of their former teacher that was looking after Nezuko. We've heard all those things before. I didn't think Tanjiro would achieve the level of growth that he did and at some point I was honestly worried about the fight with Akaza. Which was so great I can't wait for the Upper 1, and most importantly Upper 2. Someone needs to ... Apr 28, 2026

Eh? I'm also surprised this manhwa only has one review. It's Actually really good.
Wholesome with a happy ever after. First of all, the premise is already something that draws you in, the MC is an Alpha burdened with the responsibilities of one, a rare occurrence shown in Bl Manhwas, you'd expect him to get matched with an Omega that loosens him up and shows him how to fall in love and become a "better person" but NO. He gets matched with another Alpha. Alpha x Alpha and Omega x Omega pairings are really rare, so when I see one I try to give it a ... Apr 25, 2026
Why rate it an 8? The answer is very simple this is one of the rare "Villainess Isekai" Manhwas where she's actually a villainess and ACTUALLY stuck to her plans to get revenge AND she got her revenge.
Every other Manhwa is just the repeated plot of "she's a good person / she falls in love / someone helps her / she realizes people didn't actually hate her". If you're going to make your MC a Villainess, then the least you can do is give her a backbone. This FL had the best traits for a villainess; beauty, brains, a cruel bitter heart, and a metal spine. Huge ... Apr 24, 2026

The art is just gorgeous, the premise and setting was something I've never seen before, the FL has a backbone. So I dove into this head straight, expecting to be Wowed. Sadly, I wasn't.
I think what failed this manhwa is the combination of three things. High school students, romance, and an action revenge plot. In the first place, high school settings and high stakes action + revenge genre are hard to put together. The usual pairing is a normal slice of life genre or maybe even some drama. Hence while reading this you'd get a sense of absurdity regarding the plot. If you can ... Apr 23, 2026

This Manhwa was really good. Honestly the art style is of high quality, the setting was solid, and the characters were well done.
The MC is obviously a green flag, and although the ML might seem like a yellow flag, I can't help but give him a green flag as well. The reason is simple, he's realistic. Realistic in the sense that not everyone is the same. Just because he has a unique personality and a somewhat alienating mindset - due to his upbringing - doesn't mean he's a bad person. Although that's what many people would conclude. He actually has no intention to hurt ... Apr 21, 2026

It's trash, but I kept reading it because I got addicted to the trash?
Usually I'm used to seeing the male love interest of the MC as the red flag in the relationship. Yellow if you're lucky, but for this I'd say both the MC and the ML are red flags, because you gotta be a little bit toxic yourself in order to deal with that much toxicity and not go insane. Though he did go insane. Poor guy. A huge part of his life is just suffering. Honestly I'm surprised and impressed that he didn't off himself somewhere along the line. Personally I would have. ... For something so short this is surprisingly well done. Did the length constraint motivate the author to polish it to this quality? Who knows.
What is certain is that this manhwa is a great blend of passion for a career and love. Another thing that is clear is the displayed emotional growth shown in a manhwa this short. "Emotional Maturity" just brilliant. How the MC went from a blinding red flag, to a yellow flag and then a green flag, and none of it felt rushed. My favorite part of this Manhwa though was getting to learn about the F1 sport. I love it when authors weave in ... Apr 19, 2026

This story is deep and touches on themes of trauma and self love entangled with the complications of navigating a teenage life. The art style is unique(The details of the characters eyes are just gorgeous).
The only problem I had is that it's way too short. For themes like that and characters with that much depth I wished it would have been longer, giving both the readers and the characters themselves time to really explore their lives, past, present and future. Overall, it's not a bad read. One thing I really liked despite the short length was how the author was still able to make us see both ... |
