If you want a very basic introduction to DBs this is a decent point to start.
I'd recommend adding a more technical book or lecture to go along with it, since there is no more than basic theory and no relational algebra or exercises.
Did enjoy the concept of an educational Manga tho!
Learning:
You'll cover the Relational Model, some SQL and basic best practices.
Story:
Don't expect much, a fantasy kingdom just needs some DBs.
