If you like Hunter x Hunter, you would probably like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as well. Both series feature great characters with strong friendships. I'm comparing these two works side by side because I watched JoJo first, and when I watched Hunter x Hunter, I felt a lot of similarities.
Both have bizarre and unique narratives, eccentric characters, and power systems that are very different from typical shonen. They feature unusual powers where even simple things, like objects, can become powerful weapons. I would add that the fights don't rely solely on power but also on the mind; strategies are extremely important too.
I think both works rely heavily on unconventional methods of storytelling, and because of that, they stand out significantly above other classic shonen series.

Tonally similar - A mix of drama, comedy, romance, and Sci-Fi - mostly relaxed, casual, and laid back but with a backdrop of some serious ideas and topics and sensitive human relationship dynamics).
And both an exploration of how adults completely inexperienced in romantic love and family life as a grown-up could theoretically build a makeshift family with robots at the core. What follows could be heartwarming, humorous, or a mix of both. They also both bring to mind old sitcoms in which a regular human character would have their lives upended by suddenly residing with a mysterious or magical being, even if the magic in this case is advanced tech.
It's a very specific situation but one not unimaginable from our present-day at all, whether in the near or distant future, and could uniquely resonate with millions of people.

In the show Grimoire of Zero, the Beastfallen were the result of witches that cursed human parents, causing their children to be born as beastfallen/animal faced people instead of being born as human. But there is admittedly something fascinating about seeing Tsunagu where the wolf fell in love with a human.
But for real, Legoshi and Tsunagu always jumping off a high rise in order to evade battles like that’s not something that would break the legs of any normal person lol…

Kao ni Denai Kashiwada-san to Kao ni Deru Oota-kun
|
The female lead in both anime show little to no expression, but still very adorable. The comedy and vibes are also kind of similar. If you like one of these, you might like the other one!

渡くんの××が崩壊寸前 (Watari's XX Is on the Brink of Collapse) has characters designed similar to Gimai Seikatsu:
- Stoic blonde girl who becomes obsessed with the protagonist
- MC is independent for his age
- The adults' point of view creates tension in the teenagers' relationship.

Both are dark fantasy isekai anime that follow protagonists who start off naïve and optimistic but soon discover that being trapped in another world isn't at all like the grand adventure they thought it would be, becoming more cynical as a result. Additionally, Subaru and Naofumi are quite weak on their own and need a lot of help from others in order to get anything done. They also often feel like they're unwanted and are a little TOO eager to speak their mind. However, Subaru is generally friendly to the majority of people (if a little obnoxious at times) while Naofumi is generally rude and aloof to anyone he doesn't consider a close friend. In both cases, they meet and form a bond with a demi-human (Emilia/Raphtalia), something that causes problems because the country they live in is poisoned by demi-human propaganda.
Priscilla and Malty are also quite alike, in that they're both red-haired, arrogant women who have the ambition of becoming the queen of their country and believe that everyone should bow to them, though Priscilla has more morals and standards than Malty does... in that she actually has any morals and standards AT ALL.
They also have a number of the same voice actors (Subaru and Kyo are voiced by Sean Chiplock, Rem and Filo are voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker, Beatrice and Rishia are voiced by Kira Buckland, Puck and Raphtalia are voiced by Erica Mendez, Priscilla and Malty are voiced by Faye Mata and Young Wilhelm and Naofumi are voiced by Kaito Ishikawa and Billy Kametz).
I personally think both shows are brilliant, and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys a twist on the isekai genre.

Both are dark fantasy shonen anime revolving around a group of people who protect humanity from demonic beings (in "Fire Force", Infernals are combusted humans while in "Blue Exorcist", Demons are just monsters from hell). In both shows, the protagonist is a kind-hearted teenage boy with fire-based powers who is often compared to a devil, but they outright reject this label and desire to become a hero instead. In both cases, their allies include a stern, bespectacled man who acts as their immediate superior (Hinawa is Shinra's Lieutenant while Yukio is Rin's exorcist instructor) and a blonde-haired nice girl who acts as the team's emotional centre (Iris/Shiemi).
Basically, if you like one, you will almost definitely like the other.

Akatsuki no Yona

Both shows are action fantasy anime about warring nations that follow a red-haired protagonist with an upper-class background (Tigre is a noble while Yona is a princess) who start off with a rather easy life but circumstances result in them getting pulled into the conflict of the series. They're also both expert archers, though Tigre is one from the beginning while it takes a while for Yona to become one. Both shows are also very dark and action-packed, but also not opposed to humour at times.
That said, "Yona of the Dawn" is as good or better than "Lord Marksman and Vanadis" in just about every way. As such, if you like the latter, you will definitely like the former.

Mayonaka Punch
|
While Maou 2099 leans more into an Isekai vibe (there's a division on whether it actually qualifies as one) with a Demon Lord wanting to regain his powers while making a living as a Streamer, MayoPunch leans a little more into the comedy and behind the scenes of a bunch of quirky Vampires starting a YouTube channel.
Both shows feature the daily struggles and conflicts of content creators trying to gain popularity, so if you enjoy that sort of theme, they're both easy watches.

Dandadan
|
Imo, Dandadan is a superior version of FLCL (Furi Kuri), aka - how Furi Kuri actually was supposed to be. Both have great animation, are really crazy at moments and have dynamic action instances. MCs can also be viewed as somewhat similar. But Dandadan is so much more + is better in like all fields... Furi Kuri was too fast-paced and crazy to a point where the story did not make sense. Dandadan has slower tempo and reasonable story, while maintaining Furi Kuri pluses.
