If you like Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (WorldEnd), you might also enjoy Black Bullet. First, both WorldEnd and Black Bullet share a similar concept when it comes to weapons, where young girls are treated as tools of war. Second, both series portray chaotic worlds in which monsters are gradually taking over humanity. Although their settings differ—WorldEnd takes place in a fantasy world, while Black Bullet is set in a modern one—they share that same sense of despair. Finally, the tragedy that the characters in both series go through is what brings many viewers to tears. So, if you like WorldEnd, there’s a good chance you’ll also like Black Bullet.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
Both are action anime that follow a class of assassins who are tasked with assassinating a certain member of their class with promise of a reward (for E Class, it's one of their teachers while for Class Black, it's one of their classmates). In both cases, the main viewpoint character (Nagisa/Tokaku) is a blue-haired teenager who is generally very reserved, comes from an abusive upbringing and prefers knives as their weapon of choice. Both shows are also quite lighthearted and have a surprisingly low body count despite being about assassins. However, Class Black are actively competing against each other in order to see who can kill Haru first, while E Class are forced to work together in an attempt to have a chance at assassinating Koro-sensei. Additionally, "Assassination Classroom" proves even early on to be more than a typical "monster of the week" series, a format that "Akuma no Riddle" maintains from beginning to end. I prefer "Assassination Classroom", as it has a much better story and a lot more character development, though they're about equal in terms of visuals and music.

Overlord
Both are isekai anime that follow a guild (Log Horizon/Nazarick) led by a powerful sorcerer (Ainz/Shiroe) who is a human from earth that was pulled into the world of his favourite MMORPG (Elder Tales/Yggdrasil) and often resorts to shady methods in order to achieve his goals. Both shows also have great music. That said, "Overlord" is a lot darker and more action-packed than "Log Horizon", and while Shiroe makes people think he's a much worse person than he really is, Ainz often tries to convince others that he's better than he really is. Furthermore, Shiroe isn't particularly powerful in combat and has to rely on his allies to get anything substantial done, while Ainz is a one-man army who easily defeats almost anyone he fights with minimal help from his allies. Finally, Ainz was the only person pulled into the world of Yggdrasil, while Shiroe is merely one of many people pulled into the world of Elder Tales. Overall, "Log Horizon" has better plot and characters, while "Overlord" has better visuals. If you generally dislike isekais and are looking for something a bit more original, these two shows should appeal to you. And if you DO like isekais, then so much the better.

Tongari Boushi no Atelier
Witch Hat Atelier like Fullmetal Alchemist uses its art direction to mislead its audience and also properly inform them through similar styles of exposition about its world and magic system. Coco and Edward Elric are protagonists that are learning about the consequences of magic and alchemy respectively, especially the implications that can have on those they care for. There is also a larger institutional force that tries to keep this magical power for itself to the detriment of its common citizens and public safety. There is also a lot of morally complex and nuanced character work that is done in a similar matter.

Shin Kidou Senki Gundam Wing
Both are military mech anime that follow stoic teen soldiers with similar appearances who end up becoming the bodyguard of seemingly normal high school girls who soon learn that they're much more important than they seem. However, while the circumstances that brought the two main characters together are similar in both shows, individually they're quite different- Heero, while not especially sociable, lacks Sousuke's comedic awkwardness and can blend into regular society much better, while personality-wise Relena and Kaname couldn't be more different from each other if they tried. I also find Kurz and Duo to be quite similar, in that they're both the more emotional, lively best friend of the protagonist. I prefer "Full Metal Panic!", as it has better characters, pacing and voice acting.

Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu
If you liked Mashle for the fights, you'll probably enjoy Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu (The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch) a lot more than its current comedy, fantasy or school tags suggest. Mashle leans hard into absurdity and over the top fights powered by muscle, while this one gives you a more classic battle shonen protagonist. Spica starts weak and grows stronger with each trial and fight. Both shows feature a lively cast of quirky characters who study and compete together, providing plenty of comedy along the way. However, the core drive leans much more into rivalries and battles rather than pure comedy.

Both series lean heavily into parody and self‑aware comedy, taking familiar isekai/RPG tropes and twisting them into something absurd and chaotic. Full Dive focuses on the misery of a hyper‑realistic kusoge, while Cautious Hero flips the script with an overpowered protagonist whose ridiculous over‑preparation becomes the joke itself. Both are peak and follow the same tone of revenge and how it clouds judgement or paves the way for unwanted consequences Both have very good character development that you might not expect, and great world building (of course vinland saga is just the middle ages so no fantasy but they represent it super well nonetheless) they also both are very good at making you genuinely feel for the characters and share the same emotions as them, if you watch vinland saga i really recommend finishing it by reading the manga afterwards its so peak

Re-Main
Determined sport club head seeks to build a team up from scratch starting from no members (Water Polo in Re:Main and Track in Run With the Wind). Recruiting amateurs that have no prior experience in the sport. With the exception of one member who's a national level prodigy, but took a break from the sport. In Re:Main, due to amnesia. And in Run With the Wind, due to causing an incident in his previous school. It's a struggle of pain, determination, and mental and physical development. And team bonding. Despite being mocked by others, they push through with some bumps and tumultuous motivation. It's basically coming-of-age. Though, Re:Main strikes me as more about team growth, while Run With the Wind is more about personal growth.

Similarities: 1. This is a no-brainer, but the parody/comedy style of both anime is very similar. Both of these have that absurdist kind of comedy 2. Related to first, exploration of harem. It is done very unseriously 3. Each one *does* spin the tropes of characters, like tsundere, that you expect to see in other harems, but the absurdity makes it feel a bit less boring than usually 4. Protagonists that keep adding girls to their harem, while actually loving each one sincerely, and somehow the girls have no qualms with it

Kirei ni Shitemoraemasu ka.
Something about the two just somehow remind me of each other despite being completely different settings and art styles where Kirei features the normal everyday town settings and looks whereas Binchou-tan is more moe chibi in the countryside forest settings and looks instead. They both feature a rather earnest girl living by herself and doing a job as they start making friends with locals upon fated encounters just living the slow life. They both are pretty calm and relaxing to watch and they both have a very serene soundtrack that is so worth the listening to. They are different tho in points made above and also that Kirei does touch upon romance a little whereas Binchou-tan doesn't have any romance at all, Kirei is targeted to a more seinen demographic but Binchou-tan is most definitely targeted towards children.

Male-dominant characters main both shows where despite their difference in genres, settings, and plots, they both heavily lean into the everyday full of activities where the men are very gay without actually being gay. One is about a man finding a new job and overcoming the trauma of his previous boss as he enjoys work with his new boss meanwhile the other is about a noble who is magically transported to another world and becomes an adventurer. They both are full of funny, fun, and wholesome queerbaiting moments where opposite ends of such fun are mixed in too, where there is a fair bit of action and a little suspense in Odayaka Kizoku whereas Atarashii Joushi has a fair bit of the MC's trauma resurfacing at times but if you enjoy one, I think you would definitely enjoy the other!

Whereas in OT, the MC do not know who is really his twin sister, he has to suppress his feelings for the two "sisters" until he knows for sure. In MNT the MC know their relationship, but still struggle to control their emotions. The tension is the same. The feel is the same, and the resolution likewise feels the same.
