Anyway, if you make a username & password on here, and stay logged in, you can read the comics without much trouble. You shouldn’t get pop-ups if you remain logged in. I’m sure you’re smart enough to understand how it works when you get looking at it.

The Last Passage is found under “Book of the dead” on sites since they sometimes change the names to keep the pirated content hidden btw. That’s the name mangago has it titled as.

It’s called The Wolf Steals the Sun and is here on MAL under same name. Make sure you click “chapter 1 official” when you peep the scroll menus that have the uploaded chapters inside it. Some people scan them and they aren’t the officials but are fsn translations and trust me it makes a huge difference to read the officials over those.

Also, if you want the full reading experience on there you have to do one little hack to make it work seamlessly. I recommend doing it and going thru the steps to do so bcuz purchasing webtoons is hella expensive sadly. I will only sometimes do that if I really want to support an author for reasons. Anyway here are the steps you’ll take after and when you click on a chapter to read:

Locate where it says “show gap”

Unclick it. Disable that bitch haha

First off, I am so sorry to hear of your health struggles and the withering hearing loss issues. If there’s ever any medical advice or help you need with that, I’m here for you. Not that it’s exactly fixable with herbal medicine, but I’m trained to at least help alleviate symptoms of that. As well as feeling socially awkward, usually rooted in anxiety but it seems yours understandably stems from a medical condition, even still, some MDs in my city refer many folks w anxiety to me. Actually it’s probably my number one priority & ailment I’m best with in the medical community here. And I am not at all boasting saying this but instead genuinely extending an olive branch to you, from me, sincerely. I wish you the best, truly, and understand what you mean. Yeah, back before I got into Korean manhwa, and read more Japanese manga I absolutely read fantasy ecchi plots with comedy almost exclusively. My home collection of physical volumes started actually taking up unholy amounts of space. I literally ran out of ways to store the smut in my house without screaming to new friends who don’t know that side of me yet that I’m a massive pervert) eeeyah that was when I slowly began reading webtoons and manhwa. To have the smut in my phone instead. To hide 😆

And now that I have become more of a manhwa reader than manga, naturally I’ve been able to pick up more serious plots & even become heavily emotionally invested in some things. Crazy how amazing manhwa is for that. The artists in Korea are on another level with their material imo. Actually find good fantasy I stick with when it comes to manhwa. Creepy shit too, I’ve found that I couldn’t take my eyes off them/read sometimes all night long. Do you read any webcomics or have tried out the medium? Sadly the site I used to keep track of all my manga & manhwa before had developers who bailed so the website crashed (had over 700 completed titles tracked on there) Luckily I had just made this Mal account around then. Still a devastating loss though, I was so pissed and really miss that website.

Wasn’t aware of the feature where you can conveniently see friends ratings listed under an anime with dates and allll like if you switch to the desktop browser and look under “stats” hahahah I’m sure you’re more than aware and that’s how you knew I liked Dorohedoro and Iruma Kun. How cool! But either way I had noooo noooone nadda damn clue you could click an anime or manga and see what your friends think of it right beneath it in browser like that - whether they dropped it/took a dump on it or loved it/ drank its bath water etc yeah to put it lightly I am a fucking dumbass 🤣for not understanding this sooner lol. Switching to desktop on my phone is challenging but a whole new world of MAL has been opened to me FOR SURE haha but thats not my main quip - in the discovery of the first thing I later unraveled this week that updates are all shown to friends on a panel A LIVE PANEL on browser AS WELL Haaaa Which florking means$$@@:! Finished Frieren and have started on Dorohedoro and a few others this season. You mentioned witch hat atelier - it’s so funny but the mangaka had an anime staff position for this incest smut story I seen once loong ago, it was like between bro and sis bahaha so this anime is quite the diversion from that but maybe that was a one and done deal for her in youth who knows 😄 Even so, Witch Hat definitely feels …idk …geared toward the female gaze a bit ?(literally even tho it’s mostly all young female characters) ha but it’s giving slight shoujo vibes in how charming her teacher is and the bright, wide eyed conveyances …I guess ? Kinda hard to explain but idk it’s all in the gaze/his tone of voice and looks to match 🧏‍♀️ I can always see it from a mile away after all the manga I’ve read by women. I personally love the Cinderella plot and hot teacher ploy as a woman but idk if the dudes are gonna love that as much is what I’m saying. I could be way off the mark though, edging delusional and superficial, since I’m not even giving constructive criticism of the actual story here hahaha but I just cannot see guys flocking to this anime like they would normally it is a title literally labeled Seinen ?? So confused Haha but I actually adore it myself so…. guess that’s what matters. Buuut *drumroll* Hbu??? Excited to hear your wise thoughts on any anime as always - especially on this! Yeah, that’s a pretty valid way to see the series. In the novels, it does go into the characters inner monologues more, which I feel lets you connect with them better than the anime did. Sadly, it probably will be a few years hiatus… depending on whether they’re already working on season 2 or not. There is a single volume left of the series to come out, so it won’t be able to be animated until then.
That’s really interesting to hear your thoughts on why he’s your favourite! I can fully see why he stands out to you so much. Saber is probably my favourite out of all of them, just because how casual he is appeals to me. For a character I like on a deeper level, though, it’d be Sigma. I’d need to think for a moment to write more solid thoughts on why he appeals to me haha, but I really like how awkward he is when adjusting to the world around him after everything he’s been through. He struggles to undertand what’s normal and feels jealousy towards those who know what they want in life. I really like his development. He also has small, funny moments that were cut from the anime, like when Assassin originally breaks in, he panics and yells “CHARLIE CHAPLIN” to distract her
and I totally get what you mean about not being as sharp as you get older haha. I actually started keeping notes on series I read so I can go back to them. I wish I’d done that for some of the longer series I’m on like Re:Zero and Baccano… there’s so much I must have missed without realising it.

Ahh, I see! Thank you for explaining it a bit more. I haven’t actually seen a “stuck in a game” isekai for a long time. I feel like the genre as a whole has sort of moved on from that era, and it’s all just “teleported to another world” now. It will be nice to see an in-game isekai again. It’s interesting, though, to see how the trends of the genre change over time. Theres the big villainess trend for shoujo isekai now too. Makes me wonder what will be next
