I see what are those sci-fi books about? Dystopia or utopia? I used to read a lot of self help books but i just completely forgot everything about them. Guess we both havent really been online much, well not really i just had 43 notifications and 3 messages here, so i was busy replying to other people... I will def take my time, though i am a binger so not really lol. But i will throughly enjoy them anyway. I kinda hate slice of life LOL like they have an average rating of like 6.5 for me which is wayy worse than other genres. Yea if im actively looking for more anime to watch ill check out ur anime list, but im not, im set on completing what i already have, sooo i do appreciate the recommendations but i wont be actively looking.

I dont really look at genres when watching either, but we like similiar genres (Other than horror). Also by that you should be watching anime full time now! I have to be honest i dont watch anime full time at all, i am on MAL, play roblox with friends, and watch yt a lot more than watching animes these days, but if i am watching anime, i really lock in and binge it in a few days lol. But glad to hear ur plans are getting cleared to watch more anime.

First id recommend takopii, i have a review of it if ur curios, you could tell me what you think of the review and if it convinces you. Its about time travel, trauma and has suicide in it its really dark and only 6 episodes. After that i have some lighter recommendations, a place further than the universe, a very short anime about travelling to antartica, a must watch 9/10 anime which really makes you wanna travel. Well idk if you like romance 2 very entertaining romances are toradora and your lie in april. then lastly if you have time to kill and maybe torture yourself for 1,5 seasons, well not really but basically slice of life for 1,5 seasons and then one of the most masterpiece things ive seen then clannad and clannad after story is amazing. It takes 36 or so episodes to build up, but since you loved steins gate, you might be able to handle it. I genuinely loved it.

That's true, the cast of Naruto is full of excellently written characters, it’s really hard to choose lol. Exactly, each of them has struggled in their own way, and when I go through tough times, I can remember how they acted at certain moments to give me a bit of strength, so yeah.

Now, I wasn’t expecting that at all… but yeah, Orochimaru is a pretty mysterious character, but his personality can also be attractive in some cases, and all the points you mentioned are proof of that, so I get you.

I assume ur back on your laptop. Also they were great recommendations, ive added phantom requiem to my ptw since u insist its a must watch. Ill let you know what i think of psycho pass and phantom requiem after i watch it. You convinced me with saying "i am more into light hearted anime", im not and i want to prove you otherwise loll. My top genres are survival, gore and military as i said again, it would be a crime not to watch it lolll.

Ah okay, I get what you mean. The anime we watched when we were kids always keep a special place in our hearts. And yeah, some 90s anime are insanely original, even by today’s standards, and some of them are still unmatched masterpieces, so I totally understand.
And yeah, you should definitely watch Evangelion. It’s one of those masterpieces I was talking about, a truly unique anime. But just so you know, the real ending is in the movie The End of Evangelion. The anime’s ending… isn’t really the actual conclusion of the story, but anyway.

Oh, I like your top 3, and now that you mention it, I really like Yohann too. He’s definitely in my top 5 favorite antagonists, and he’s not number 5 lol.

Hmm okay, let me think.
My favorite character is definitely Itachi. It’s a classic choice, sure, but I genuinely mean it. He’s both the best-written and the most mysterious character, and on top of that he’s the biggest flexer in the whole series. Honestly, he’s just incredible.

Second place would be Kakashi. I didn’t really care about him before, but when I think about it now, he’s actually extremely well written too. He’s probably the character who suffered the most emotionally in Naruto, yet he always stayed calm and composed on the outside. It’s kinda inspiring, cuz I’m pretty similar to that too. So yeah, it’s really his journey that made me like him.

Third place… yeah that’s where it gets hard lol. I’m thinking Minato, Sasuke, or Madara, I honestly can’t pick one, sorry. Naruto’s cast is full of amazing characters, it’s almost criminal.

Okay, so my top 3 anime are definitely:
AOT, Naruto, Neon Genesis Evangelion. They’re the ones that touched me the most or that I loved the most (honorable mention to JJK even if I didn’t like the end of the manga, and to HxH 2011 which is, in my opinion, the peak of shonen).

Oh… I’ve never really thought about making a top 3 characters… there are just so many I love that I can’t choose xD, or well, it would be really hard.
Maybe if you ask for my top 3 per anime, then I’d be able to answer.
