it was originally made to piggy back off of the success of sailor moon, then turned into its own thing, its an early isekai,great animation for the early 90s, great voice acting and has well written romance

Also… I was once tricked into watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica thinking it was a cute, happy magical girl anime. It was not. I have trust issues now.

I'm really into fantasy/action anime with strong character dynamics (and strong characters in general!)

Since you're into fantasy anime, I highly, highly recommend Dungeon Meshi.
A lot of fan base are saying that we're in a golden era of fantasy anime right now, and I also agree with that.
People are saying they're the "Big 3" right now for the fantasy genre.
Since you've already watched 2/3 of the shows, I'll still name them.
Frieren, Witch Hat Atelier, and Dungeon Meshi.

ive never watched fire force yet lol, but i recommend magic knight rayearth if you dont mind older anime, the 1994 series has 2 seasons, while they made a 3 ep ova with amazing animation and its a bit more darker, they are also making a reboot that will fully cover the manga
