I'm certainly not what you'd call an otaku. I only really became a fan of anime in the summer of 2014, and since then I've been very selective about the anime I watch. As a result, you won't see me giving any anime a 2 or a 3, as there aren't many I really regret watching and I try to give as honest an opinion as I can. I also believe strongly in giving credit where credit is due. Even if I didn't like something, I still believe that it's important to point out what it did right in order to be as fair as possible. Finally, it doesn't really matter how many people find my reviews helpful, as I'm mostly just hear to form my own opinions and to stand by them, without any need for validation from anyone. As such, if anyone does happen to find my reviews helpful, then that's just a fortunate side-effect.
