My Plan to Read section can range from series I'm interested in, publishing series that I'm waiting to finish, or even cool looking JP manga that have not been translated yet. Either way, it's an incredibly useful tool for me.

Hello I am jiv123. For the most part I am a manga only reader, occasionally I'll try out an anime but my preference is definitely to read the original source works. Pretty much every manga I read I make sure to write out my thoughts in the form of notes. Check out my manga list if you'd like. I haven't written any reviews yet, but I'm considering it. Mostly only for more obscure series that need it. I like discussing manga with those who are passionate. So if you'd like to send me a friend request or have a chat feel free. Just make sure you send a message before you send a request so I know where you are coming from.

interested in hearing your take on it after the first three chapters
Actually, I was curious if that was how you had to do it. I never actually looked into how it is that the manga have to be scanned, but I had wondered if you actually had to pull them apart to do it. That's hard, I don't think I could do it, lol. Plus I imagine that some of the untranslated stuff is kinda hard to find. Maybe some of the newer manga get published online?
Other than that I still think it would be fun to do someday, I have a lot of respect for all the scanlation groups out there~
That's pretty cool, I want to learn Japanese some day. I think it would be really cool to be able to read the original manga and be able to translate it. I also took Spanish when I was in highschool, only for 2 years though. Actually, my school was pretty small so that is all that they offered. Since then I've learned a little bit of German on my on, although I kinda haven't been keeping up with studying for the last year or so...
I work for the Forest Service. I get laid off in the winter and usually come back around now. It's really busy in the summer so I usually don't have much free time. It's fun though. Although I'm a little worried that I got out of shape this winter, ha.
What have you been up to? Have you read anything interesting lately?
HERMIT MOE GIRL
That's good; I've been reading a couple new manga that I found. One is called Holy Hearts, which is about this school for nuns basically but they also fight these demon things occasionally. The other is called Dendrobates, which is about this guy who works as in accounting for a police department, but outside of work he is secretly a hitman who kills criminals and stuff. It's kind of generic, but it's been entertaining so far. They're both pretty short and I'm about half way through both of them.
Since I've been laid off from work for the winter I've had a lot of free time, which is nice, although I guess I probably haven't been using my time very productively; and I've actually hardly even been catching up on my backlog~
Oh, and I was going to say that I like the way you added all the notes to your manga list, I might start doing that too. Anyways, hopefully you are doing well~
