For a natural genius like Crown Prince Cecil Glow Alfostar, every day is a bore. Knowledge and skills come far too easily for him, to the point that nothing can captivate his interest. However, this changes the day he meets someone who never fails to betray his expectations—his fiancée and self-proclaimed villainess Bertia Evil Nochesse.

Bertia claims that this world is that of an "otome game." She has been reborn as the villainess, and it is her duty to impede the relationship between Cecil and the heroine. Never one to shy away from fate, she zealously takes to her evil role... to mixed results. Though she doesn't realize it, Bertia's supposedly "evil deeds" always come off as sincere and kind. Finally relieved of his melancholy, there is never a boring day for Cecil as he observes his unknowingly good-hearted fiancée.

Preliminary (5/12 eps)

The best twist on the "reincarnated villainess" genre to date, [long show name] shifts the perspective to that of the main object of an otome game setting (the prince to be won over by the player), instead of that of the player herself.

Instead, the real-life players of the game are recast as an adorably sweet, well-intentioned "villainess" and a hot mess of a "heroine", trying to contend with a main character (the prince) who has no interest at all in following the game's plot, and has a distinct preference to do otherwise.

This set-up leads to a great mix of mystery and comedy, as everyone involved, ... as well as the audience, try to figure out where the railroad plot is going after it's already jumped the tracks.

The most common sentiment among those watching it is "this show has no right to be as good as it is". And yet, it is.

It's easily among the top three shows this season and may have a fair claim to the first position.

Mixed Feelings

Uhhhhh, is it wierd to say that you dropped an anime you enjoyed?? yeah i guess it is wierd but lemme explain just a little before you think i am a wierd review writter...

"I will not write that huge title" is an anime literally about a girl who says that she got reincarnated and wants to sacrifice herself to make the guy who is supposed to be "Her Target" happy, or at least that what she thinks about doing... the plot takes a really fun turn on showing how their adventure go on with a lot of events making it even more fun. So i ... liked the concept so much, especially how it focuses on the male lead and how after a lot of years of boring stuff he met the girl that will make his life more interesting, how he interacts with her and how he sometimes feels he doesn't take what she says seriously, how the girl feels stupid sometimes, and that pink haired girl who is supposed to be his fiance being more stupid than anyone else there.

The problem that made me drop the show is...I really hate the middle age time period stories, yeah it makes me feel unsetteled, even though there is a lot of exceptions, i still can't feel alright while watching them, if the anime wasn't at a specific level of "Worth Watching" or higher, i will drop it, and that level is 8/10, unfortunately the "I will not write that huge title" is 7/10, it doesn't make it bad but i can't really feel okay watching everyone wearing formal middle age things and castles everywhere..

But if you doesn't care or even like those stuff, i guess you will like the concept, just have fun buddy!
