I mean based on what you have actually done, not how you explain yourself internally. Do you mostly act from decency, or from greed, lust, or self-interest? So be honest. Have you ever done something that would make others hate you if they found out? Or are you actually as decent as you appear?

@Zarutaku The very concept of evil is inherently social. There is no such thing as “natural evil” in itself. Evil is a standard created by societies to judge human behavior.

Evil is a category applied to individuals, not to abstractions such as “the majority” as a collective entity. Keep in mind that I am not claiming that society’s definitions of good and evil are necessarily valid, on the contrary, they are often harmful. Nor am I saying that the proponents of such moral frameworks live up to their own standards, but that is irrelevant to the point at hand, which is discussing whether you would be considered good or evil from a societal standpoint.

Why doesn't the concept apply to such a collective entity when it's literally defined by one? Seems rather hypocritical or contradictory. |

I mean: the worst things I've done are: frequent sarcasm frequent "inappropriate" jokes glancing at attractive people in public occasional white lies being somewhat cynical occasional outbursts of anger saying the fuck word and other naughty words not entirely hating pineapple on pizza and still finding big chungus funny. If that's all I've done, I think I'm in a good place.

I'm not a decent person at all and I throw out decent people. I'm very insensitive and always end up offending people. That's why I met so many bad people in my life, because I deserve it, because I'm evil and I attract evil people. I really hate myself, I wish I was a kinder person who had a normal life but because of my inadequacies I can't have a normal life and I'm perpetually stuck as a bummed out bum who is not sufficient for anything.

I'm not evil and I genuinely don't think I'm capable of doing anything truly bad as guilt/worry would just eat me up until I die. I'm certainly not the most charitable person either though, would much rather help myself and mine. I'm a little pervy and obsessive and I guess you say I was bad for not turning myself over to authorities to be taken into care as a kid, although all that was based on lies to deliberately ruin my mother, but was still hindering justice in their eyes. Depends what side you want to take.

@Meusnier Don't know why people on internet like to pretend know each other. Idiots who tell me they don't like me I honestly don't care lmfao. To be evil to you need to embody most Traits people would deem evil. You a aren't killer, rapist, paedophile, hell you don't even embody negative ones you arent a liar, thief or moral less, you have more positive traits. I tell you this not because we're friends but its truth. I know you better than anyone here. Other than that you should relax and do stuff you wanna do. don't argues with fools and idiots on the internet it ruins the experience. Only losers flex "knowledge" on people them deem less than. Were all outcast just depends on the degree. Edit: 4:16 pm finally up lol

| @fleurbleue Ummm NO... people who celebrate murder, constantly shame others, shit on others for things they can't control, and virtue signal constantly actually do not have wholesome personas haha. We see what this REALLY is 😂 I might have felt a bit too much joy Just admit it and own it, geez louise! Own up to their own stance. Which isn't even that bad. I totally sympathize with your point of view. And lol Canadian politics really are just being utterly obsessed with American politics, but taking spoon-fed takes off Reddit and Twitter. | @Lucifrost I'll assume that's sarcasm since there was no way I could have known the guy. Any joy I felt came from my disdain for the American healthcare system rather than from personal hatred toward the victim, I'd say. I'm not one to wish for bloody violence, but I'm not perfect either, and sometimes my empathy just doesn't want to kick in for some people. We're all sinners, after all. |

@AmityBlight It has more to do with the fact that stating Hitler was evil would generally be considered a pretty non-controversial statement that most people would agree with, while thinking the contrary might actually get you labeled as evil. So thinking someone is evil doesn't necessarily have to do with projection. I can't say I know you too well, our interactions are pretty scarce. I do perceive you as someone with somewhat of an abrasive personality, though.
