I personally can't handle anything under 60fps
I aim for 144+ though.

Ahh what a nostalgic topic

Dragon Age 1 ,2
FarCry 3, 4
Oblivion, Skyrim
Assassins Creed 1,2,3,4
etc++

I remember finishing these games with sub 10 fps with my pentium 4 computer during 2010's.

I play now with 60fps with my current setup but those 10fps days were some nostalgic shit lmao

For gaming 24 FPS is probably the lowest I could handle in terms of interacting with a 3D environment, but 30 FPS is probably about where I would draw the line with most games tbh 2D or 3D. On a competitive FPS, anything less than 60FPS might not be worth playing in.

It's rough here but keep in mind most gameplay wont be intense like this

Goldeneye 007 is still one of my favorite games, so I can tolerate anything.

I grew up with PAL systems so shit performance (25 fps or sometimes less) was part of the course. Nowadays I aim for 3 digits but I tolerate 40 for singleplayer games if they look nice. I see it as an acceptable trade off.
I never use frame generation. I want my frames to be real damnit.

I lived using the absolute CRAPPIEST laptop ever for like 7 years back in 2015 to around 2022 (which literally ran roblox at like anywhere from 8-20 fps, so I feel like my limit would be somewhere like 12 or 13 before I get annoyed

I did play Pokemon Violet on the Switch 1 at launch, and I believe that ran under 30fps often. Still played it just fine. I think the PS5 runs games around 60fps, so ~20 - 60 fps is my gaming range. I did once try to play World of Warcraft on a crappy laptop, which ran at 3 fps. I died faster than the refresh rate was able to render it, so one moment my character was just standing there while I command it to cast a spell, and the next moment was my character dead. Didn't even see the attack. So, single digits fps is way too low, I'll say 20-30 is playable but not ideal, with 30-60 fps being the ideal. Never experienced 60+ fps gaming since I never owned anything that can display more than 60fps.

What have I done?!
It's too late for me now.
I guess I won't be the sane
level 5 of Academy City anymore.

I think I can just about manage under 30fps, for anything modern, but anything under 20 will just make me faint. I have more patience for older hardware, since I grew up playing SNES PAL games.

As someone who has used quite a few frame rate exploits, both very high and very low ones, I can tolerate down to 8 fps, but any lower feels unplayable.
