This is amazing at creating a creepy feeling. It perfectly mixes a dark romance with real scary monster themes.
The best part of the story is how it sticks to the "cosmic horror" theme. While some stories just use monsters for looks, this one understands the main point: humans are nothing compared to a powerful being they can't understand. This is terrifying because she has no chance against him. There is no way to "fix" him, no way to run away, and the scariest part is that she can’t even choose to die to escape him. The way he messes with her head and tricks her

is extreme, showing exactly how powerless she is.
The art is also beautiful. The drawing style is very clean and pretty, which makes it even more shocking when things suddenly turn gross or scary. The artist does a great job showing Yohan’s two sides: he looks like a handsome love interest one moment, but then becomes glitchy and weird the next. The way the panels look distorted helps the reader feel how Irae is losing her grip on reality as her world is changed around her.
However, the fact that the story is so short has its downsides. Since there are only 26 chapters, the end feels very rushed. The story changes so fast at the finish line that some might feel confused, not just by the horror, but by how quickly it ends. There was a lot of cool information about other "gods" and the world that we never got to see, which is a bit disappointing.
