Dorohedoro Season 2

The anime is perfect, the animation is impeccable, seriously, it's even better than JoJo. MAPPA deserves praise for their work. It's very bloody, and the only censorship is of the women's breasts.

The opening is also impeccable. Nothing to complain about in this anime. I wish this anime had more recognition; it's perfect, but not very hyped. I hope MAPPA didn't whip the animators, haha.

Anyway, the scenes are very bloody and detailed; they use both 3D and 2D animation styles very well. I hope the anime gains more recognition after these three incredible episodes.

The story is unique, the characters are captivating.

THIS IS SERIOUSLY HAPPENING!!!
when I saw the announcement for Dorohedoro Season 2 airing April 01, I genuinely thought “ah nice April Fool’s joke guys, you got me…” but turns out it’s real?? yeah I was losing my mind.
watching Dorohedoro years ago left me stunned by how good it was, and with no follow-up announcement, I just assumed it would be one of those anime that exists purely as a really good advertisement for the manga…
and now, 6 years later, here we are with Season 2. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE.
3 episodes in and I have 0 complaints. none. nada. it looks just as visually stunning as ... Season 1, still carrying that same dark, eerie grit with its signature deadpan humor.
Dorohedoro has always been a lore-heavy story with an absurd, chaotic world, and it’s clear MAPPA is being careful not to oversimplify it or drown it in unnecessary complexity.
and they brought back (K)NoW_NAME??? S1’s soundtrack was a 10/10 and the OP & ED this season absolutely deliver too.
everything feels handled with care, and I’m genuinely so excited to see where this goes.
this is already shaping up to be one of my 2026 anime highlights.

Been waiting for a sequel to this anime for so long, it was such a shame that such a fictional masterpiece wouldn't continue with an anime adaptation, everything about this anime is spot on The animation combines 2D and 3D, well executed by MAPPA, and it seems like this season 2 has more vibrant colors than the first season and is an addition to the experience. Everything about Dorohedoro is just right, the animation, the action between sorcerers and devils is chaotic but in a good way, it's bloody, the cuts are uncensored, and everything about the action is just right.Something that let me down ... even more was the waiting time, I forgot some details because I had to watch recaps and a few key episodes from the first season.
Maybe I'll update this review after the season ends, but the first 3 episodes really got to me.
