Thanks and likewise to you all! Sunday is half-through by this time in Ultima Thule. The weather changed dramatically from one day to another. We had sun and nice weather yesterday and today it’s rainy, grey and cold. I hope the sun comes back soon.

My tenure in El Centro was back in the early '80s and I have since then move on to a more equitable climate, like western SoDak. Granted we have to put up with Invi's imagination on a more regular basis, but at least my four seasons no longer consist of "hot, hotter, hottest, and "Who decided bringing he** here was a good idea?"

Same as @filifjonkan, I'm happy with a milder climate, the summer here gets plenty hot for me, at least without air con. We've hit 35C last couple of summers and it makes going outside and doing things, unavoidable when you have kids, a slog. About 25C max with a light breeze would be the sweet spot for me.
