Anime Relations: Shinseiki Evangelion, Samurai Champloo, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Chainsaw Man, Dungeon Meshi
It has been...a while would be an understatement. I don't think the majority of people I knew here even log in anymore, but I haven't made an anime list in quite some time, so I figured I should, with all the new anime that has come and gone. As always, this is just my personal opinion on what I enjoy the most. I'll separate these into sections of 5 like last time. I'm doing 25 because there are just so many good anime, even 25 will be missing some of my favorites, but that's just how it is. I'll try to give a brief summary of why I like it as well. Anyway here is the first batch...

25. That time I got reincarnated as a slime : This is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I never used to like Isekai stuff, maybe partly to blame for SAO. But I enjoyed this one when it came out, and it has really grown on me through the years. I enjoy the world building and comedic elements balanced with the nice action parts. Over time, I have enjoyed stuff like this more than I used to. I also enjoy Overlord and Shang-ri la frontier (although that one is a bit different which helps it). Overall I gave I a shot, and it has become one of my favorites each season it comes around.

24. Samurai Champloo: Ah Champloo. A very fun samurai anime. This took the place of Rurouni kenshin on my list long ago. I enjoy the style this anime has. It can take itself serious when it wants but not too much. I don't think I'll say as much about anime that were on previous lists. This just a fun action samurai story.

23.Evangelion: I have to include this on my list. This series is too iconic not to. It is a messed up wild series that returned with some new movies in recent years. I've always enjoyed it, but I'm not in love with it enough to put it any higher. Still, a messed up story with mechs fighting angels, yeah it gets on my list ahead of hundreds of other anime I have seen. Get in the robot Shinji!

22.Chainsaw man: Maybe a surprise here? I like this show so far even with one season and a movie to go off of, but I don't find it the masterpiece others do, not yet anyway. It can be a bit silly at times and the main character's aspirations are....interesting, but I think that is partly why people like it, it is different, not the same old trope. It has a good amount of action and the story while simple at this time is still entertaining. I look forward to seeing how it grows over time.

21.Delicious in dungeon: This one was pleasantly surprising and fun. A descent into a dungeon where they eat stuff from the dungeon, it sounds boring, but it is very well done...and then more things happen later that changes the dynamic a lot. The characters are very enjoyable (love Marcille) and the episodes are never boring. I enjoy the art style as well. I can't wait to see more in the future.
