'Gensou Suikoden' Announces Supporting Cast

The Gensou Suikoden (Suikoden: The Anime) White Stage at AnimeJapan 2026 revealed supporting cast members and a fourth key visual (pictured) on Sunday. The anime series adapting Konami's fantasy role-playing game will begin airing in October 2026.

Culgan: Jun Kasama (Revenger)
Seed: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)
Leknaat: Megumi Han (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)
Gengen: Shouta Hayama (Tokyo Revengers)
Rikimaru: Ryuunosuke Watanuki (Blue Lock)
Rina: Saya Hitomi (Chi. Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite)
Eilie: Umino Mizutama
Bolgan: Yuusuke Sasaki (Dandadan)

Yuuzou Satou (Exception) is helming the anime at Konami animation. Michihiro Tsuchiya (Major 2nd 2nd Season) is handling the series composition and Ryou Yamauchi (Uchi no Shishou wa Shippo ga Nai) is designing the characters. Kouji Nakamura (Eureka Seven AO) is composing the music.

The Suikoden franchise debuted in 1995 on the PlayStation, drawing inspiration from the classic Chinese novel Shui Hu Zhuan (Water Margin). Konami released Gensou Suikoden II (Suikoden II) in December 1998, followed by three more games in the main series in July 2002, August 2004, and February 2006 as well as multiple spin-offs.

Shinjirou Hori penned a light novel adaptation under Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint with illustrations by Fumi Ishikawa from December 2000 to September 2001.
