5-toubun no Hanayome

Fuutarou Uesugi is an ace high school student, but leads an otherwise tough life. His standoffish personality and reclusive nature have left him friendless, and his father is debt-ridden, forcing his family to scrape by.

One day during his lunch break, Uesugi argues with a female transfer student who has claimed "his seat," leading both of them to dislike each other. That same day, he is presented with a golden opportunity to clear his family's debt: a private tutoring gig for a wealthy family's daughter, with a wage of five times the market price. He accepts the proposal, but is horrified to discover that the client, Itsuki Nakano, is the girl he confronted earlier!

After unsuccessfully trying to get back on Itsuki's good side, Uesugi finds out that his problems don't end there: Itsuki is actually a quintuplet, so in addition to her, he must also tutor her sisters—Miku, Yotsuba, Nino, and Ichika—who, despite the very real threat of flunking, want nothing to do with a tutor. However, his family's livelihood is on the line so Uesugi pushes on, adamant in his resolve to rid the sisters of their detest for studying and successfully lead them to graduation.

So you've come here to ask me why I rated this show so highly.

As a fellow man without a girlfriend the feeling of loneliness creeps upon me, and that's when I decide to watch some romance anime and see what life has to offer me.
Lets get into the anime itself the animation style is amazing, this could sound like glaze but give me a moment I've watched trash-anime and seeing a frame actually moving makes me happy.

I may sound stupid but if you've only eaten stale bread with wine your whole life and you suddenly eat something amazing what are your first words.
Yes, exactly that's ... what I thought I really love this anime the build up the way all of the sisters have different personalities but still want to be one happy family brings me to tears.

You could call me an idiot you could call me biased but if you really hate an anime that you could give it a 1/10 am I really the one who's biased or are you the one that is actually biased.

Mixed Feelings

Having watched this anime 4 years ago, and only writing a review for it now looking back at it, I have only a couple of highlights to share but most important of them is

The plot line and character cast of a poor, smart and hard working male catering to a quintuple of rich, but semi-delinquent females is a type of dichotomy which I noticed just from the mentions of this anime very early on. It is also something that fascinated me about this anime throughout just this one season. I am serious about that because the plot line is also filled with many points ... of contentions such as this dichotomy

Not only that but the anime having infusions of romance does contain struggles between multiple parties(Harem anime!)

Just from those two points, the anime is already a decent roler coaster from the early. You will be entertained from the first two episodes.

Oh my god I have never seen an anime make me so miserable, the main cast of characters are just really unlikeable, the girls are just stereotypes of different personalities and most of them are terrible and they all treat the main character like shit I have no idea how futaro can even stand them.
The plot is really poorly paced and takes forever to get anywhere with most plot points not leading to anything.

Other than my negative thoughts the anime itself if just a typical harem anime with little substance to it. There are way to many conflicts between the characters making all them feel ... pointless because they all end up happy and back together in the end

There are better character arcs and stories in fucking SpongeBob than this.
