Ultra Instinct is one of the most iconic transformations in the entire franchise. Goku reaching a state beyond conscious thought adds a new layer to his growth and delivers some of the most visually stunning and intense moments in the series. The animation during these peak fights is absolutely breathtaking.

Dragon Ball Super was a fun anime, but it lacked the excitement of Dragon Ball and Z.

The only real dip in animation quality was when Goku first meets Beerus and Whis. You've probably seen clips of it online, if you follow Dragon Ball. I enjoyed the series over the movies for the beginning of the anime. The series adds much more content and Episode #1 is awesome with Mr. Satan.

I really enjoyed all of Dragon Ball Super except for the tournament arc. If I watch it again I may skip the whole Tournament Arc, I feel that ... strongly about it. The battles seemed to drag on forever and the end result of the Tournament was very predictable. That's the problem with it there was no real purpose other than watch how strong I am and I'm stronger. The tournament arc does have some merit, such as Godly powers should only be used for good and to defend (which you can already infer from the series.) It kind of reminded me of watching WWF brainless staged fun.

In conclusion, the first two arcs get a 9/10, next two arcs get 10/10, final arc gets 8/10.

the definition of trash truly, bad planning shying away from manga which led to confusing plots, no story what so ever boring shaky screen fights with the worst impact visuals ive seen in anime history. i dont blame toriyama but man he can do better even in the manga the new sagas are just alt senarios from og dbz making something diffrent, i gave it 2 cuz they gave some characthers some value in the show other than that its a big ol ZERO for me, also transformations and power lvl is a joke in super no ltrly they didnt bother to make them feel ... unique at all save your time and read the manga if you really wanna know whats happening or watch a summary on youtube its better that way
