Synopsis

Office worker Kiyoshi Adachi has gone 30 years of life without ever having his cherry popped. Due to this profound accomplishment, he becomes a wizard with the ability to read minds through physical contact. However, he thinks his newly attained skill is hopelessly lame and has caused him to dislike crowded places.

On the way to his work, Adachi runs into his attractive and well-liked coworker, Yuuichi Kurosawa. Piqued by his personality, he furtively touches Kurosawa and takes a peek at his heart, only to find out that the man holds romantic dreams for a colleague at their office. Adachi attempts to connect the dots, but soon, Kurosawa's fantasies are laid bare—his coworker's perverted thoughts are meant for him! Despite doing his best to concentrate, he can now hardly remain focused with Kurosawa around.

30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii is based on a web manga of the same title posted to the author's Twitter account since January 26, 2018. A live-action television drama adaptation of the same name was released in 2020.

I came from the tv show (On Crunchyroll) to read the manga because I figured there'd be more content and less censorship, and so far its basically the same quality, and I love it! I couldn't find the listing on here for the adaptation (Maybe cause the tv show is live action, not an anime) but if the manga has the same story beats as the adaptation then I'll go ahead and say that I'm going to love the manga!
The art does look a little off in some places (like the noses and sometimes the hands) but overall the characters look pretty cute, ...

Watched the live-action before reading the manga but they're equally amazing! They differ a bit which is nice, personally love the manga more but because live-action is a bit different it's even more worth reading/watching both. Kurosawa is such an amazingly cute character and is super sweet towards Adachi, just the thoughts that Adachi reads whenever he touches Kurosawa makes my heart melt.

Can't even count how many times I have reread it by now and the number will never stop increasing. Super adorable and wholesome all the way though out the story, Kurosawa and Adachi are one of my absolute favorite couples. The manga is ...

Cherry Magic! has a funny title and that’s about it.

There’s really nothing special about this manga, and I don’t particulary get the hype about it. The art is nothing to write home about; it’s not audaciously ugly, but the face shapes are kind of odd looking and there’s nothing impressive or interesting about the rest of it.
